Today, I'm 36.. I'm feeling nostalgic about WWII Online. I remembered when I was 13.. 13! logging into PlayOnline when I was 13, and I still vividly remember my experiences marching across Europe as a German soldier. Using my grandma's CC to pay for the service.. I served in the 1st Totenkopf SS under the GHC (I believe Shiloh was the commander at the time).
Players like Obelocke and others took me under their wing, and those gaming moments created lasting memories that I still cherish 23 years later. While I may not be an active gamer anymore, WWII Online holds a special place in my heart from those formative years.
