Happy New Year (2025) from CRS!

As we welcome the New Year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for being an integral part of this incredible community and online game.

WWII Online is truly one of a kind—a place where lifelong friendships are built, and unforgettable gaming experiences are created. This legacy thrives because of you, our players, whose continued subscriptions make it possible for us to sustain and grow our operations. Your support is the foundation of everything we do, and together, we ensure the future of this incredible community.

Looking ahead to 2025, I am optimistic about the opportunities before us. Together with the team, I am committed to addressing your concerns with greater organization and focus, particularly on improving gameplay stability, tackling population balance challenges, and enhancing the experience for players in Time Zone 3. Your feedback continues to drive our priorities, and we are listening.

Innovation remains a cornerstone of our vision. While 2024 may not have showcased as much visible progress as we had hoped, I want to assure you that significant strides were made. I often remind our team of this simple truth: “Anything worth achieving requires hard work and perseverance.” Together, we are laying the foundation for a stronger future.

As we close out 2024, it’s worth reflecting on how far we’ve come. Against all odds, we have doubled the game’s lifetime since the challenges of 2012—a time when many believed the end was inevitable. Through the unwavering dedication of our team and community, we have overcome obstacles that once seemed insurmountable. This shared resilience is proof of what we can achieve when we work as one.

As we move forward, let’s recognize the progress we’ve made as seen in our 1.37 readme area and other things like:

  • Completing several longstanding roadmap items.

  • Chokepoint successfully being rebuilt to work in UE5.

    • Not to mention, rebuilding the whole team.

  • Foundational 2.0 progress.

  • Enhancing our marketing presence which resulted in more players.

  • Driving gameplay changes to make battles bigger.

  • Implementing several game balance adjustments and working on TZ3.

  • Creating a brand new WWIIOnline.com website with state-of-the-art tools.

  • Rebuilding longstanding models to improve our curb appeal.

  • Expanding the playable game world size, and brand new terrain features.

  • Adding new vehicle platforms like Quad AA guns.

  • Making it easier to deploy mobile spawns, removing the B.S.

  • Tons of new audio updates to give new life into vehicles.

  • Added an all-new consolidated bug tracker for transparent communications.

  • And even more!

We are investing in the future, and we are fixing problems that are affecting you now. We are becoming more organized and remain steadfast in our mission to see WWII Online reach its next evolution. This goal is achievable, but only through our collective effort and shared commitment. Never doubt the value you bring—each of you is vital to our success. Together, we can accomplish anything.

On behalf of everyone at Playnet/CRS, I wish you and your loved ones a healthy, propserous 2025. It is a privilege to be part of this community and this game, and I am completely committed to building on our successes in the year ahead. Thank you for your continued support, and here’s to achieving great things together in 2025.

Stay focused. Stay united. Stay the course. S!
